Serving Opportunities

Help spread the word about a unique support group for bereaved parents. The Thumb Area Compassionate Friends meet at 7:00 p.m. on the second Monday of each month at the Community of Christ Church, located at 2881 Deckerville Rd., Caro, MI. The organization is a support group for any parent who has suffered the loss of a child of any age. There are no dues or church afflilation.

The Habitat for Humanity is looking for voluteers to build a new home in Merrill. Other opportunities include prayer before building news, office work and providing lunch at the sites.

Pick up a purple bag from the church office. Please fill the purple bag with hygiene products for homeless families and individuals seeking emergency shelter.

The Total Christian Television is looking for volunteers to answer prayer calls and to take pledges. Please sign up in the church office and review flier for more information. (March 10-17)

The east Side Soup Kitchen is looking for volunteers to serve lunch Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Responsibilities included, but not limited to the following: Helping on thr food line, serving food, prepping food etc. Please contact Ms. Pam
