A Message from Pastor Smith

Mt. Olive Institutional Missionary Baptist Church will adhere to the advisory of local, state, and federal governments in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in the United States.

SAGINAW, March 16th, 2020 --- Due to the recent updates concerning necessary preventative measures to reduce the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, all weekly activities normally held at the Mt. Olive church are cancelled beginning Sunday, March 15th. Out of an abundance of caution, we ask that everyone follow the instructions of health experts in order to remain safe until further, credible knowledge is shared.

“I urge everyone to be reminded of Proverbs 11:14. As a result of prayer and wise             counsel, our church will follow the advice given to us,” said Rev. Dr. Marvin T.             Smith, Pastor of the Mt. Olive Institutional Missionary Baptist Church.

Numerous executive orders are being released in response to the global COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. The Mt. Olive Church will continue to prioritize the health, wellness, and safety of its members by heeding to the instructions of these well-informed counsels. As more relevant updates unfold, please continue to practice social distancing, healthy habits, and be reminded of our strong faith in God.
