BY-LAW MINISTRY

Purpose Statement:   "To maintain a system of guidelines for governing of the Mt. Olive Institutional Missionary Baptist Church (Pastor, officers, employees and members of the congregation)."

Goals: 

1.  To supply and read to the congregation the existing by-laws and any subsequent changes by membership according to Roberts's Rules of Order (Section 56, Amendment of the By-laws)."

2.  To review and study by-law change recommendations made by members of the congregation.

3.  To report to the membership at quarterly business meetings and By-law changes and/or recommendations received with a rationale.

4.  To provide all members with the copies of By-law change recommendations at least fourteen (14) days prior to the business meeting where changes are to be voted upon.
